It's finally here. Moving day. I am so mixed with emotions of excitement and sadness.
How exciting is it that I can, "...throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in [my] sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." I am so grateful that I have the opportunity to chase my passions and take time to indulge in the culture I have craved for so long.
Likewise, I am so blessed to have such an amazing support system. The people in my life have embraced me and encouraged me wholeheartedly. Strangers have taken the time to pray for me and send me their best wishes. This is why it is so hard to say good-bye.
So the countdown has come to hours and I am finishing packing.
All that's left to do is to jump blindly into the unknown. What an adventure that awaits me!!
What a weekend!! Now that we are getting into the final days before departure things are starting to wrap up nicely. My wonderful sister planned an amazing Going Away Party in my honor on Saturday. I am so lucky to have a boyfriend that would open his home to our family and friends to have our last hoorah and say our good-byes. Not to mention Stephanie and John came all the way down from SC to hang out, thanks guys!! To everyone else that came, thank you so much for all of your love and support! It means the world me and it makes it that much harder to leave such great people. I know you'll be here when I get back but that doesn't mean I won't miss the hell out of each and every one of you!! We all had a great time grilling out, playing corn hole, hanging around the fire, and enjoying each others company. I could not be any happier, I am beyond words at this point.

Three weeks until I am over in Huelva!! I have all of my paperwork done and visa in hand! I'll be purchasing my flight on Monday to Madrid. Packing hasn't begun yet, procrastination as it's finest!
I am so thankful to have found two roommates that I seem to mesh well with. I'll be meeting them upon arrival to start our apartment hunt. Until then hostels will have to make do. I am looking forward to this adventure not knowing any details.
Saturday is my going away party and I can't wait to spend one last hoorah with my family and friends. We'll be grilling, drinking, and hanging out at Ray's. I'm so excited!
And let me just say how blessed I am to have such amazing and supportive people in my life. You know who you are. Thank you for everything you do for me!!
